I wanted to do something for my OC Lynx and his relationship with his older siblings Sarah and Daniel.  Their relationship is very platonic and they really all love each other so much it’s crazy. Their dynamic just works, without one the other two would simply not be the same. They have changed each other for the better. Siblings by bonds not by blood. A few times they have been mistaken for as couples when out and about, they just share everything and are always touchy with each other more so then people might be used to seeing. They were not together when they were younger so they kind of just act like children. there just isn’t any sexual attraction so they pretty much don’t care what people think about them all sharing a bed or when Sarah is in the shower, Daniel is brushing their teeth and Lynx hands Sarah a towel as she gets out and she leaves the shower on cause its his turn. They just work in each others space well.

Hey! Okay, question for your original trio! If they had one day left on earth and could do whatever they wanted (within the County... No travel's possible), what would they do?

oh this is hard! hmm 🤔

Deputy Sarah - She would take the risk and do something she is afraid of like try and pet a wild bear or something stupid, I'm sure Dani would try to persuade her that going into Jacob's territory unannounced and trying to pet one of his wolves would be just as "scary" so do that instead. Lynx would beg to come along if only to take pictures (even if the world is ending)

Dani - Treats it like any other day but makes sure to stay close to his siblings. he is strangely calm about the whole thing but also reminisces with people and reflects on his life, if there's some kind of countdown to the end of the world he would be doing yoga well that's going on not gonna lie.

Lynx - internally panicking! zones out and starts stressing only to have someone bring him out of his panic and he would smile like everything is fine, this is fine, totally a-okay! (it's not) he would be one to think on things he hasn't done. if this was before his uh, baptism I think he would break and ask for one just in case. more to just experience it not for asking for forgiveness and becoming clean.

I've never done a pixiv thing before but this was a fun challenge!

Sarah, Lynx and Daniel my 3 fc5 characters

Lynx looks like a chick for sure in this but then again he is a pretty boy so what can you do lol

I always picture lynx super pale, Sarah a tiny bit more tan and then dani a tiny bit more darker than that

Also didn't have hazel eyes so Sarah's eyes would be more green/brown

Dani also wears his hair in a low side braid more than down, lynx usually his bangs tied back with a clip of some kind. Sarah likes her hair down but if it gets in the way it's up in a high messy bun.

I would tag people but idk who hasn't done this and I really dont know enough people lol

name before it was changed was Aaron Daniels, takes Sarah’s mother’s maiden name to match with her after Sarah’s father passes away. the oldest of the three. hair: brown eyes: deep brown sins: pride, envy

Lynx Kirklyn - Lyn - Musician

when found refused to give his old name thus Sarah actually named him, was the first to get Kirklyn as a last name which angered Sarah’s father, his back story is complex and i’m not gonna put it here, name before was Gabriel Angelus.youngest of the three. hair: dirty blonde eyes: green sins: envy, wrath and later lust

did i make another oc? yes! again. This is a wip for her, right now she is just called The Mortician and her nickname is Mort. this is just one of the interactions she has with my deputy Sarah ‘Rook’ Kirklyn.  i made a quick moodboard above to go with it. >.> I am not a writer and conversations are not my strong point, but i tried. as soon as i find a face claim i’ll make an post with her info!

“You think I was prepared for this?!” Mort turned, shovel shaking in her hands, eyes wide, teeth bared.

“You think this is my family business? I can see people for what they used to be and make them leave this world looking their best. I used to find beauty in death! Death has always been natural, the circle of life and all that shit!”  Her knuckles turned white from the grip on the wooden handle, the setting sun hit the spade despite its tarnished weathered look. seems even shovels had expiration dates and this one had been well used as of late.

“My family taught me to respect the dead, they taught me how one can tell the life someone lives by seeing what the body has been through and experienced. Ever since Eden’s Gate took refuge here death has been anything but natural. I can’t make these people look like they did before Rook! the experiences they have gone through-” Her voice broke and a huff of air left her lips. The intense look in Mort’s eyes showed sadness more than fury.

“What The Seeds have done to these people isn’t right, no one deserves this. I’ve buried every member of my family in just 4 months, only my mother got a proper burial as she was the first to die.” Mort just couldn’t lock eyes anymore and she turned to the hole she had been digging. “the rest have been all in unmarked graves around this damn county and I will have no one to bury me, cause i’m not being buried.” The fury returned, and Sarah knew the wrath that came with it. “The Seeds will die for what they have done, they can’t be redeemed and they will get a death just as un-natural as they have given each of my family.”

With that Mort struck the ground again breaking up the dirt to set aside. Sarah had seen Mort many a time as a deputy but never had she seen the other like she was now. Mort was as dirty as a peggie, her hair usually glossy and her nails always shiny with the latest color of the week but that was months ago, before the reaping started. Her hair was oily, her nails caked with so much dirt Rook was afraid to look closer. The mortician was used to death but not like this, not on this scale.

As much as Sarah wanted to try to understand The Seeds she knew everyone in hope county wanted them dead for the things they had their hand in doing to its people. Mort clearly knew what she was doing with that shovel, the hole had to be almost 5 feet down by now. Sarah grabbed her own shovel and jumped down to start helping, she could set her feelings and thoughts aside for now. As they both dug neither of them talked.

When it was all said and done, the couple Sarah had come across with Mort were laid in the earth side by side six feet under with a make shift marker Rook had made at the last minute she thought to be a nice touch remembering Mort’s words of her families unmarked graves. 

“Thirty-two.”

Rook looked to Mort and cocked her head in question but then she understood. This wasn’t the first time Sarah had gone to a cabin to get supplies and found disturbed dirt the length of a body and nothing but blood on the ground. Mort was the answer and thirty-two was the number of Hope County’s people Mort herself had buried with her own hands and that included her family members.

“Rook, I’m tired of this. I’m tired of making Hope County a giant cemetery. It’s become disrespectful to breath out in the open when every time I walk i’m unsure if someone is buried under my feet. I know you are saving people, as many as you can. I also know you just can’t save everyone. Just promise me when this is all done, cause this has to end Rook, that you’ll remember all these faces. That I wont be the only one.”

Sarah took the step needed to be able to reach out and place her hand on the dirty plaid of Mort’s shoulder.

“I can’t promise I can end all this, I can’t promise that this will end the way you are wanting but-” She made sure to look directly into the others eyes. “I can promise that I will remember, I may not have been in this place long but I promise i’ll remember every face, every grave, you wont have to remember alone Mort.”
